The symptoms of parvo is a rather dire subject to make a website on, so why would anyone do such a thing? Well it's simple really, but very sad: I lost a young puppy to parvovirus, and want to educate others on the symptoms of the disease. My intent in doing this is so that their young dog might be saved.
While I personally acted quickly and took my puppy to vet, the vet unfortunately at first did not run a parvo test, and it wasn't until a second visit days later concluded that my puppy had parvo. Intensive treatment was then started, but unfortunately wasn't enough to save my little guys life.
I do wonder if the vet had diagnosed the parvo sooner, if my pup might have been saved. So, if your pup is displaying the symptoms of parvo please ask your vet to check for the disease. Early treatment is vital in giving your puppy the best possible shot at recovery.
